Oribe ware is a type of Japanese pottery named after Furuta Oribe, a tea master from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. He favored a bold, unconventional aesthetic known as hie-wabi or hyōge (meaning humorous or playful) which defined the ware produced in kilns in the Mino Province (modern-day Gifu Prefecture).

Oribe ware is known for its striking, often dark green, copper-sulfate glaze and its unique, sometimes asymmetrical forms and geometric patterns, which were considered revolutionary for their time

Each set comprises of soup bowl and spoon, 5 sets available.
